The Portrait Masters Awards have just been announced and I am so pleased to have received a bucket of medals for my submissions this year. It means a lot to me to see where my work stands. Also, keeping the competition in mind all year keeps me on my toes. I am always thinking ahead to push myself into new ideas, better techniques, better retouching, and creative story-telling. It’s not all about receiving medals… but it does reinforce the path I am on. So I feel like celebrating! The following photographs were awarded bronze medals in these categories: Children’s Portrait, Teen and Senior Portrait, Creative Portrait, and Family and Group Portrait.
